1 - General Hospital, Portlaoise
The works comprised of the following:
Construction of new psychiatric and paediatric wings, (single & two storey respectively)
300m of R.C. underground service tunnel New waste management compound New services compound
New car parking facilities New bed lift (3 storeys) New passenger lift incorporated in new reinforced concrete.
Feature staircase (3 storeys) Extension and refurbishment of catering and laundry department
New oxygen compound Temporary canteen facilities and underground services (storm, sewer, watermain, gas, ducting etc.)
Tunnel constructed using Linear Verbeau Shoring / Formwork System
The hospital remained operational at all times which involved major co-ordination with the client.
