The project consists of the construction of a high level multi-span bridge across Mulroy Bay in Co. Donegal and associated approach roads.
The bridge is of an approximately 340m long, comprising of 5 spans with the main span of 100 metres. The bridge is being built across the bay by means of balanced cantilever construction.
The approach roads are approximately 2.6km in length with 1.4km on the southern side and 0.8km on the northern approach, comprised of a two lane single carriageway.
